Outlaws Catch Brewer Flu and Fall in Final Home Game

Prince Albert, SK - It was not the look that the Outlaws wanted to have in their final home game of the season as they fall 19-2 to the Saskatoon Brewers.

Matthew Saunders got things going early for the Brewers, scoring just 18 seconds into the game to get the road team on the board first. Kurtis Peifer quickly answered back for the Outlaws just over a minute later to tie up the game. The boys from PA held strong in the first but Keagan White would help Saskatoon re-take the lead with 8:30 left to go. Saskatoon would score 2 late goals to take a 4-1 lead heading into the second period.

The Brewers would add 2 more in the first two-and-a-half minutes into the middle frame to go up 6-1. Carson Remy brought some life to the Outlaws with his first career PGLL Senior goal at the 13:42 mark of the period to make it 6-2. Mitch Linklater would score a minute later to make it 7-2 and then it was all Brewers after that as Saskatoon cruised to a 19-2 victory over the PA Outlaws.

Kurtis Peifer and Carson Remy were the goal scorers for PA. Tanner Fetch saw a lot of rubber and made a ton of great saves for the Outlaws or else the game could have gotten even more out of hand. Phil Northey stood tall in the final 4 minutes for PA allowing 2 goals.

The Outlaws are back in action on Thursday night in Saskatoon on June 13 for a make up game against the Brewers that was originally scheduled for June 2.
