Outlaws Dig a Deep Hole and Fall to the SWAT

Saskatoon, SK - The Outlaws started out strong but the wheels would eventually fall off and the Saskatoon SWAT cruised to a huge 17-4 victory.

The opening 6 minutes was a back-and-fourth affair with the Outlaws scoring first with Brendin Currie finding the back of the net for his first goal of the season. The Brewers would answer back two minutes later, but Tave Schumacher would put the Outlaws back in front at the 14:04 mark of the period. The Brewers would add 4 more before Ethan Kennedy would pot his first of the game with 2:13 left in the opening period. PA would head into the dressing room down 5-3.

Saskatoon would score 6 and hold Prince Albert off the score sheet in the middle stanza and the Outlaws trailed 11-3 going in to the final period.

The SWAT would add 6 more in the third before Ethan Kennedy score 2 goals in the final 2 minutes and 33 seconds of the game. PA would fall by a score of 17-5

Ethan Kennedy led the way for the Prince Albert Raiders with 3 goals and an assist for 4 points.

Prince Albert will be back in action next weekend for a Sunday nigh game in Saskatoon on June 2 against the Brewers.
